Christoph Koenig is a young conductor who is making his name. He has already been Music Director of several major orchestra and enjoyed a big success with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra earlier this year. He appears for the first time with the SCO in this festive closing concert which features excerpts from Mendelssohn's music to A Midsummer Night's Dream
