ENF prides itself on exploring the musical potential of some unusual venues - and this year we off er a rare opportunity to hear music ancient and modern in a HAS - Hardened Aircraft Shelter - at RAF Leuchars. The building itself is brutally modern and dramatic, but its acoustic is the real surprise: reverberant and mysterious, like a great cathedral. The Orlando Consort and amazing Mongolian throat singers, Huun Huur Tu, belong to traditions that are literally miles apart; but in this atmospherically lit space they will give a truly unique performance. Due to security restrictions, access to the venue is strictly by ENF coach.
