Kilconquhar Loch is a beautiful place with a dark past - men and women suspected of witchcraft were tormented there. It is the setting for the last of our classic ghost stories this year - Ann Louise Ross tells the old Scottish tale of Thrawn Janet in Robert Louis Stevenson's superb rendition.

Tickets: £5

Performance lasts approx. 25 mins with no interval

Please note: weather permitting this event will take place by Kilconquhar Loch. Should the forecast be grim please be sure to wear warm clothing and sturdy shoes. If it is raining, the event will take place in the kirk. Festival staff  will be on hand by the gates of the kirk to direct you to the performance location.
