Here's Britten at his most congenial with Malcolm Martineau — one of the finest Britten interpreters around. He has come together with two wonderful singers to offer a pair of concerts of folksong arrangements include many popular favourites. Amidst them, Martineau and his singers draw in songs by other composers who Britten admired.
