Scottish Chamber Orchestra

 

Since before the ENF existed, the SCO were giving concerts in the East Neuk, and their participation remains one of the great pleasures of the weekend. As usual, they are appearing as a single ensemble for our closing concert (Mendelssohn and Weber) but dividing into smaller ensembles for two earlier concerts. The strings, directed by Chris George, play Bach and Pärt  on Thursday evening, while the winds play Pärt, Beethoven and Schubert on Friday teatime.
