Alexander Lonquich performs worldwide in Japan, USA, Australia as well as at the most important European music centres. He is a regular guest of many prestigious Festivals including Salzburg, Mozartwoche Salzburg, Piano-Festival Ruhr, Schleswig-Holstein, Lucerne, Cheltenham, Edinburgh International, Kissinger Sommer, Schubertiade Schwarzenberg, Lockenhaus and Beethoven Festival in Bonn and Warsaw. He has played under the baton of Claudio Abbado, Yuri Bashmet, Philippe Herreweghe, Heinz Holliger, Ton Koopman, Emmanuel Krivine, Mark Minkowski, Kurt Sanderling and Sándor Végh.

Alexander regularly appears with the Camerata Salzburg, Mahler Chamber Orchestra, Orchestra da Camera di Mantova, Münchener Kammerorchester, Basel Chamber Orchestra, Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen, Stuttgart Chamber and the Symphony Orchestra Frankfurt. He has also performed as soloist of the Vienna Philharmonic, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich, Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg, Düsseldorf Symphonic Orchestra, Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, Hungarian National Philharmonic Orchestra and the Slovenian Philharmonic.

Alexander is profoundly committed to chamber music and plays with partners including Nicolas Altstaedt, Renaud and Gautier Capuçons, Veronika Hagen, Heinz Holliger, Steven Isserlis, Leonidas Kavakos, Isabelle van Keulen, Sabine Meyer, Heinrich Schiff, Christian Tetzlaff, Carolin Widmann, Jörg Widmann, Tabea Zimmermann, the Auryn Quartet and the Carmina Quartet.

Highlights the season 2014/15 will include a Residency at Musikverein Graz, a tour through South America with the Austrian Hungarian Haydn Philharmonic and a CD recording of Schumann’s concert pieces with Heinz Holliger and the WDR Symphony Orchestra.

In 2015/16, Alexander Lonquich will be Artist in Residence at the NDR Symphony Orchestra.
